Companies in the chemical industry are responsible for the production of industrial chemicals. In many cases, these chemicals are raw materials that are then converted into finished goods such as plastic packaging. 

The pharmaceutical industry is comprised of companies that research, develop, and produce drugs for medical use. These drugs could be as simple as basic painkillers or as advanced as brand-new vaccines. 

The food and beverage industry is one of the largest in the world, consisting of growers, manufacturers, retailers, restaurants, and even packaging companies. It is arguably the most important industry as people need food and beverages to survive. From fresh produce and canned goods to industrial processing machines, the food industry 

The shipbuilding industry involves the procurement of materials, planning, and production of ships, boats, and other vessels that travel by sea. These can be luxury boats such as yachts or large containerships used to haul cargo. It is a vast industry with merchants all over the world. It is also one of the oldest industries, dating back to before the 4th millennium BC. There is always a need for more ships.  

The agriculture is industry is the foundation upon which the food industry is built, and the world could not go on without it. It includes farming, cultivating, and growing crops as well as raising animals for food purposes. Organizations such as farms, dairies, ranches, and hatcheries all make up the agriculture industry. 

The aerospace industry involves research, development, and production of aircraft, both within our atmosphere and into space. It is a major industry with many regulations, as aircraft can be used for personal, commercial, or military purposes. 

The Power & Energy industry is comprised of fossil fuel, electrical power, nuclear, and renewable energy providers throughout the world. It includes the extraction of fuel, manufacturing of required machinery, and the sale of the energy to governments or to the public. 

Oil and gas are some of the most important materials in the world, being used by the power and energy industries to provide us with electricity and fuel to keep our lights on. 

The petrochemical industry is made up of products that are composed of refined petroleum. This includes natural gas, plastic, rubber, solvents, adhesives, and polymers. 

The mining industry is one of the oldest in the world. It involves the discovery of, extraction, and processing of a variety of materials that are all found naturally in the earth. Some of most common mined materials are coal, copper, iron, and limestone. 

Civil infrastructure is the collection of structures and buildings that are used by citizens in a society. This includes bridges, roads, power structures, and utilities. 

Industrial projects are those which involve the development and construction of buildings and machines that are used for a particular industry. This could be something small such as a storefront plant or something large like a manufacturing plant.
